Hamilton Police have arrested two youth in connection with the murder of 38-year-old Danielle Strauss of Hamilton.

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., police responded to 195 Ferguson Avenue North in Hamilton for reports of a deceased 38-year-old female who was found in her apartment. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Police believe Danielle died late Sunday evening or early Monday morning. 

The two youth were arrested yesterday afternoon on a Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus without incident.  A 15-year-old female and a 16-year-old male appeared in court earlier today. 
Both youth have been charged with Murder - Second Degree.

Investigators continue to search for a 16-year-old male wanted for second degree murder in relation to this case. 

The cause of death is not being released as it remains evidence. Given the age of the suspects and the fact the case is before the courts, additional information will not be released.
