Arrest Made in Mountain and East End Break-ins

Hamilton Police continue to investigate several break-ins that occurred on the Hamilton Mountain over the recent weeks. A Hamilton man was arrested and is scheduled for a court appearance today.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, shortly before 10:00 a.m., Hamilton Police received a 911 call for a break and enter in progress at the residence in the area of Nash Road South and Queenston Road. The occupants were home when a male suspect was in the processes of breaking into their residence. Police responded and located the suspect in the area and arrested him without incident. The occupants were not injured.

Through investigation, Hamilton Police have been able to connect the suspect to two other residential break-ins that occurred on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, on the East Mountain. At the time of the incidents, the male was bound by two Probation Orders.

CHARGED:

  • Randy HALL, 33-years-of-age from Hamilton

CHARGES:

  • Break and Enter with Intent
  • Break and Enter Commit X2
  • Fail to Comply Probation X6

Randy Hall is expected to appear for a bail hearing on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
