Arrest Warrant Issued for Hamilton Man

Daniel McDermott is wanted in relation to an early morning shooting incident that sent a male to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On Saturday, November 9, 2019, shortly after 2:00 a.m., an altercation occurred between two males in the area of Cannon Street East and Huntley Street. One male was shot in the face with a BB gun. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Through investigation, a Hamilton man was identified as the suspect in the incident. A warrant of arrest was sought by police and on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, the warrant was issued.

Daniel McDermott, 22-years-of-age is now wanted in relation to the incident. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach, contact 9-1-1 immediately.

  • Utter threats to cause death
  • Possession of weapons dangerous to the public
  • Fail to comply probation
