Hamilton Police Conducting Roll Call for Cop Camp

Hamilton Police are inviting youth between the ages of 9-12 to learn more about policing over March Break. "Cop Camp", which has been running for over 20 years, is offered at the East End Station located at 2825 King St. E, Hamilton.

This year, four single day camps will be offered.

Children must arrive daily by 8:45 a.m. and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at 4:00 p.m. The child must be signed in and out by a responsible adult.

Children with an interest in policing or children who would benefit from positive interaction with police officers will find the camp entertaining and rewarding. Children are engaged through physical activity, fun games and interactive presentations.

The cost is $20 per child, which includes a camp t-shirt, morning and afternoon snacks, and prizes. Campers are responsible for their own lunch.

Each of the four camps is filled on a “first come, first serve basis.” At the time of registration, parents must also complete a waiver and photo release.

The registration deadline is Friday, February 22, 2019. Please register quickly to secure your child’s spot at one of the four camps (maximum 50 children per camp).
