Search Warrant Executed on a Residence and Vehicle

Hamilton Police executed a search warrant on a Central Mountain home and two vehicles. A Hamilton man was arrested and charged when drugs and money were located.

On February 26, 2020, police observed a male leaving a Springvalley Crescent home in one of the targeted vehicles. The car was observed travelling to an area of Hess Street South and Main Street West where it was stopped by police without incident. The loan occupant was found to be in possession of pre-packaged cocaine and fentanyl.

The male was placed under arrest and brought to Central custody where he was charged with drug offences and held for bail.

Charged: Troy Campbell (36-years-old) Hamilton resident

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
  • Proceeds of Crime Under $5000

Seized Items

  • Two cell phones
  • Three digital scales with cocaine residue
  • 13 packages of pre-packaged drugs
  • Canadian currency
  • Small baggies for drug sales
