Police investigation continues after evidence of shots fired on Upper Wentworth Street

On Monday March 20, 2017, just shortly after 4:00am Hamilton Police received reports of gunshots being heard in the area of Upper Wentworth Street and Emperor Avenue. Police responded to the area to investigate and a search of the area was commenced with the assistance of the Canine Unit. Police located damages to a parked vehicle. The damages were suspected for being from the reported sounds of gun shots. Police continue to investigate. Anyone with information about this incident that they believe could assist investigators is asked to contact police.
