Drowning at Gulliver’s Lake
On Tuesday August 8th, 2017 shortly after 3:00pm, Hamilton Police and EMS responded to Gulliver’s Lake Park located at 792 Safari Road, Millgrove for a reported drowning.
The victim, a 24 year old male from Thornhill, was attending a workplace gathering at the park when he was observed outside the marked swimming area. Co-workers later noticed the victim was missing and found him under water at which time he was removed and CPR was performed. An Air Ambulance responded to the scene and the victim was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Hamilton Police are assisting the Coroner’s Office with this investigation.
