Hamilton Police are appealing for witnesses after a shooting the City's West end. 

On Saturday, February 16, 2019, minutes before 2:00 a.m., the Hamilton Police Service received calls reporting shots fired in a bar located at 303 York Blvd. in Hamilton.

The officers responded and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. A male in his 20s was transported to hospital with injuries from a gunshot wound. At this time his injuries are non-life threatening. The incident occurred inside the premises.

The investigation is in the early stages.
