24-Hour Robbery Spree Leads to Arrest
On October 11, 2018, just shortly before 12:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a pharmacy robbery in the area of Queenston Road and Nash Road, Hamilton. A suspect armed with a knife entered the pharmacy and attempted to rob the pharmacist of narcotics. He was unsuccessful and the victims did not sustain any injuries.
Later that night shortly before 6:30 p.m., the same suspect robbed a variety store in the area of Melvin Avenue causing the employee minor injuries from a punch to the head. No weapon was used and no merchandise was stolen.
On October 12, 2018, the same suspect walked into the TD bank on Queenston Road. He passed a note demanding cash and fled from the area with a small quantity of cash. No one was injured.
