Hamilton Police Service is investigating after reports of a serious collision which occurred on the Red Hill Valley Parkway

On April 20, 2019, shortly after 5:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a number of motor vehicles involved in an accident on the Red Hill Valley Parkway, in the southbound lanes in the area of Queenston Rd.

Police were advised that approx four vehicles were involved in a collision and that two people have been transported to hospital via ambulance to tend to their injuries. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time. Police are on scene conducting an investigation and have closed the southbound lanes of the Red Hill Parkway. Police are recommending that due to the excessive traffic congestion in the area that the public use alternate routes to avoid any further delays.
