Arrest Made After Three Day Commercial Robbery Spree

Hamilton Police have arrested a 38-year-old male from Hamilton after he conducted a rash of commercial robberies over three days this past weekend.

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, shortly before 2:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a panic alarm at a commercial establishment in the area of King Street East and Holton Avenue.

Police arrived, the suspect was still on scene. Officers quickly entered into verbal de-escalation with the suspect who was brandishing a knife.

The suspect, Robert Kenneth Condon was arrested and charged with Robbery.

Through further investigation officers were able to conclude that Condon was the outstanding suspect in four additional commercial robberies that occurred in our city over this past weekend from Friday, August 19, 2022 to Sunday, August 21, 2022.

In total Condon faces five counts of Robbery. He remains in custody.

None of the victims sustained any physical injuries during these robberies.
