Grab a Coffee with a Cop

Hamilton Police are inviting you to sit down, ask questions and share what’s on your mind over a cup of coffee, when Coffee with a Cop comes to Hamilton on March 30.

Coffee With a Cop, which is held all over North America, is the second time Hamilton Police have run the popular initiative. Launched in California, Coffee With a Cop was created with the intention of establishing trust between community and police. Since then, it has been offered at police services across the world.

“We’re excited to bring this initiative to Hamilton. Events like Coffee With a Cop work because of their simplicity. They break down barriers that can often exist between police officers and the community. This allows a dialogue without agendas and speeches, simply allowing a conversation to take place.”

Coffee With a Copy will take place on March 30, 2019, at McDonald's, 787 Barton Street East, Hamilton. Officers from across the service will be available to share a cup of coffee and chat about the issues that matter most to you.
