Police Investigate a Collision Involving a Motorcycle

The Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a collision involving a motorcycle rider who suffered serious injuries.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, shortly after 7:30 p.m., the rider of a 2008 Triumph motorcycle was travelling westbound on King Street East the near Main Street East. At that time, the rider lost control and collided with the south curb on King Street. He was then thrown from the motorcycle.

The rider, a 25-year-old man from Hamilton, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. He currently remains in stable condition.

At this time, the cause of the collision is under investigation. The driver of a white, four-door sedan, that was in the area at the time of the collision is being asked to contact the police.
