Collision Reconstruction Unit Investigates Single-Vehicle Fatal Collision

A 23-year-old Cambridge man and his dog have died after a single-vehicle collision on Concession 10 West. The Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate.

The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a single-motor vehicle that occurred shortly before 7:15 p.m. yesterday. A 23-year-old male from Cambridge was driving his vehicle eastbound on Concession 10 West when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver and his dog succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Mountain Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have notified family members of the collision. Out of respect for the family’s request, Hamilton Police will not be releasing the name of the driver.
