Do You Know This Person?

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit continues to investigate a robbery that occurred on the mountain in early July. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a lone male entered a commercial business located in the area or Upper Wellington Street and Brucedale Avenue East, Hamilton. The suspect approached staff and demanded cash. He successfully obtained an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running in a northwesterly direction.

During the interaction the suspect claimed to be in possession of a weapon, however, it was never seen.

No staff members were physically injured.

Detectives from the BEAR Unit continue to investigate the robbery and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

  • Light coloured flip flop sandals
