Hamilton Police Service patrol officers responded to McDonalds at 1268 King Street East, Hamilton in regards to a threatening incident.

Investigation revealed that a 27 -year-old male was arrested after being found to be in possession of a handgun.  Detectives continue to investigate the incident.  There are no suspects outstanding and no threat to public safety at this time.
