Flashlight Inside Secured Fencing Spikes Curiosity

 

In the early morning hours a suspicious flashlight is seen inside a secured fencing area of a Canadian Tire which leads police to an arrest.

On May 26, 2018, just before 2:00 a.m., police was checking the rear businesses in the area of 686 Queenston Road in Hamilton. Police noticed a flashlight moving around inside a secured fenced area of Canadian Tire. Police investigated further and noticed a bicycle with an attached trailer sitting by the fence. A short time later Police observed a male climbing out from inside the secured fencing and walk towards the bicycle.

Police stopped the male and arrested him for Break and Enter. The male was searched and found inside his backpack was a bag of marijuana and stolen identification.

Charged: Philip Wasmund (34-years) from Hamilton

  • Possession of Marijuana

  • Fail to comply with recognizance x 3
