Hair Salon Robber Caught by Police

Hamilton Police have arrested and charged a 37-year-old Hamilton man in relation to a local hair salon robbery. He appeared in court on April 10, 2019.

On Friday, January 4, 2019, shortly before 7:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to First Choice Haircutters located at 96 Centennial Parkway North for a Robbery that had just occurred. Through investigation, police learned a single male suspect entered the store while armed with a knife and obtained an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. He then fled the store on foot, prior to police arrival.

Hamilton Police B.E.A.R. Unit Detectives continued to investigate the occurrence and on Wednesday, April 10, 2018, Steve Robertson was arrested and brought before the courts to answer to the charges.

No injuries were incurred during the occurrence.
