Hamilton Man Arrested for Multiple Break and Enters

The Hamilton Police BEAR unit, in conjunction with Halton Police Service, has arrested a Hamilton man involved in multiple break and enters.

Shortly after midnight on August 26, 2018, a Honda Civic was stolen from the area of Quigley Road in Hamilton. The stolen auto was used in several entries over the course of the evening. The following incidences were reported to police:

Easy In and Out Convenience store on Main Street East received front door damage when an entry occurred shortly after 3:00 a.m. Several cigarettes were stolen.

The crime spree continued as the same suspects targeted the Petro Canada on Victoria Avenue shortly after 4:30 a.m. and then the Husky Gas Station on Stonechurch Road East. A large number of cigarettes were taken from both of these locations.

Through investigative techniques, the Hamilton BEAR investigators were able to link the above break and enters and identify the male responsible.

Charged:

Michael CLARK (30-years-old) of Hamilton was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Vehicle Theft
  • Break and Enter – Commit theft x2
  • Break and Enter – Intent
  • Disguise with Intent x3
  • Fail To Comply with Recognizance x 4

Hamilton and Halton Police Services continue their investigation into other similar break and enters in the Hamilton and Burlington areas.
