Hamilton Police Service is appealing for witnesses after shots were fired into a parked vehicle in the early morning hours of August 7, 2018.

On the morning of August 7, 2018, a resident living on Elgar Avenue, Hamilton, woke up to find that their vehicle had bullet holes. The resident reported hearing series of loud bangs at approximately 1:45 a.m.

Police believe this is a targeted shooting and there is no threat to public safety.
