Hamilton Police Arrest Male Responsible for Pharmacy Robbery

On July 26, 2018, shortly before 11 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a robbery in progress at a pharmacy on the east mountain. A lone male suspect entered the store and demanded narcotics from the pharmacist. The male made good his escape with several bottles of medications.

The 31-year-old male from Hamilton was later identified, arrested and charged, and the narcotics recovered. The male will appear in court in August 2018.

The male has been charged with the following offences:

  • Robbery
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule 1 Opioid X 3
