Hamilton Police have concluded the investigation into an incident where a 14-year-old male youth from Hamilton was ambushed and assaulted at Gage Park.

On Saturday, August 18, 2018, a 14-year-old male attended the Mid Summers Night Dream Festival at Gage Park. During the event, the male was surrounded by numerous individuals and assaulted. The incident was captured on video and forwarded to the Hamilton Police Service.

A thorough investigation has been completed. Eight youths have been identified and charged with assault.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping to identify the individuals involved.
