On Saturday, July 29, 2023 at approximately 0930 hrs., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Garner Rd. W. and Shaver Rd. for a person with a weapon. Officers have since  concluded their investigation and there is no ongoing threat to public safety. One person was arrested at a nearby residence and a pellet gun was seized. The Hamilton Police Service would like to thank citizens for their patience while the incident was resolved.
