Hamilton Police Continue to Crack Down on “Speed” Zero Tolerance

Another person has been charged with stunt driving. It’s flat out dangerous and it won’t be tolerated.

On May 3, 2018, shortly before 1:30 a.m. police observed a 2012 Dodge Caravan travelling southbound on Upper Centennial Parkway. Police identified the vehicle was travelling 115 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. The vehicle was pulled over just north of Mud Street.

The vehicle has been impounded for seven days and the 34-year-old driver from Stoney Creek has received an automatic seven day driver’s license suspension. He is scheduled for a court appearance on June 4, 2018, to answer to the charges of:

  • Stunt Driving

  • Speeding – 177km/ hr in a 90km/hr

In order to protect everyone in our community, Hamilton Police continue to take a zero tolerance approach to the Stunt Driving.
