Hamilton Police continue to investigate a shooting that took place this morning and are asking for the publics assistance.

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at  4:50 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to a shooting just occurred in the area of Balmoral Avenue and Cannon Street East.

Hamilton Police can confirm a shooting incident occurred and that no injuries have been reported to police at this time.

Division Two Criminal Investigation Branch is investigating this crime. Detectives are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. for any suspicious activity and to contact police. Detectives are also asking if you were driving in the area and have dash camera footage that would be suitable for review please contact the investigators.
