Hamilton Police are currently investigating a stabbing incident and are asking anyone who may have any information or video to contact Police.  

On Thursday September 14, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a stabbing incident in the area of Melvin Avenue and Bernard Street.  An altercation took place between a 60-year-old victim and the suspect following an argument.

The victims injuries are non-life threatening. 

Shortly after the incident, the suspect fled on foot on Melvin Avenue in an unknown direction. 

Suspect is described as:

•  White Male
• 20-30 years old
• 5’8”
• Black hoodie
• Black sweatpants
• Black ski mask
