Hamilton Police investigating a shooting in the area of Barton Street East and East Avenue North. 

On Sunday, April 10, 2022, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of the sound of gunshots in the area of Barton St E and East Ave N. Upon police arrival no victims were located, however evidence was located confirming a shooting took place. Police received information that numerous vehicles were seen fleeing that area. There is no specific suspect information to provide at this time.

The Hamilton Police are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras around the time of incident.
