On Wednesday, November 30^th, 2022, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Minto Avenue and Bristol Street where residents heard what was believed to be gunshots.

Police can confirm a shooting incident occurred and no injuries were reported.

Hamilton Police are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. for any suspicious activity and to contact police.  Detectives are also asking for anyone driving in the area at that time with dash camera footage to contact investigators.
