Hamilton Police Investigate Shooting on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton Police continue to investigate an incident where multiple shots were fired at a residence on the Hamilton Mountain in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Police secured the area shortly after 1:30 a.m., when evidence was recovered confirming a firearm had been discharged outside a residence on Queenslea Drive in Hamilton.

No physical injuries were suffered as a result of this shooting, but damage occurred to the property. Police continue to investigate the motive behind this occurrence and are requesting homeowners in the area check their home surveillance systems for video evidence of this offence.
