No physical injuries reported to police in the investigation of a discharged firearm in the city's east end. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators.

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021 just shortly before 9:30 p.m., Hamilton police responded to possible shots fired in the area of Adair Avenue South and Central Avenue in our city's east end.

Police attended and upon arrival, officers immediately secured the area and searched for anyone involved; however, they had fled the scene. Investigators have confirmed that a shooting took place. 

Investigators believe this is a isolated incident.

The investigation has been taken over by Division Two Criminal Investigation Branch.
