Hamilton Police Investigating a Shooting on Stoney Creek Mountain

On April 23, 2018, shortly after 9:30 p.m., police responded to the townhouse complex in the area of 23 Echo Valley Drive, Stoney Creek to investigate a potential shooting.

A noise resembling gunshots were heard sometime around 8:00 a.m. A male was seen running into one of the units and two males run northbound away from the survey. Hamilton Police conducted interviews with residents in the location hoping to receive more information since it was more than 12 hours after the incident that police were called.

Police are looking to identify two male suspects dressed in construction type clothing wearing yellow construction hats with white breathing masks over their faces.

Police are currently trying to identify the parties involved and asking for any witnesses in the area of the complex that may have heard or seen suspicious activity on Monday morning around 8:00 a.m. to call Detective Constable Greg Mills at (905) 546-2957 at the Criminal Investigation Division, East End Station.
