Hamilton Police Investigating Sexual Assault in West Hamilton

Police are investigating two separate incidents of sexual assaults that occurred in the area of Emerson Street and Ward Avenue, Hamilton. Police believe the incidents are linked and are looking for assistance from the public.

The male suspect entered the multi-resident homes between the hours of 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on April 29, 2019, and July 26, 2019. The male sexually assaulted the female residents who were in their early 20’s and were alone at the time of the incident. It is unknown at this time if these victims were targeted.

The public is asked to check their security cameras for suspicious activity and to not approach suspicious persons in the area matching this description, contact 9-1-1 immediately.

Hamilton Police also want to remind the community to ensure their windows and doors are secured before retiring for the night.

The suspect is described as;

Male, 18-23-years-old, 5’8”-6’2”, 200lbs, with a large build, wearing all black clothing with his face and head covered.
