Hamilton Police Officer Arrested for Drive Over 80 mg.

 

A 17-year member of the Hamilton Police Service was arrested Friday, July 27, 2018, as a result of an off-duty incident relating to a single motor vehicle collision, with a parked car.

Constable Jerome Stewart, 51-years-old, of Hamilton, has been charged with Over 80 mgs. under the Criminal Code.

Stewart has been released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in court on August 23, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., at the John Sopinka Court House. Stewart has been assigned to administrative duties.

This matter is now before the courts.
