Hamilton Police appeal to witnesses to come forward with information in relation to a shooting incident in the east end. Last night police responded to a residence after reports of a shot being fired. A single hole was discovered in an apartment door. No one was injured in the incident.

On Wednesday, January 2, 2018, shortly before 10:00 p.m., Hamilton Police attended 910 Barton Street East for a shooting incident. Information provided to police detailed a loud banging sound being heard in the building. Police discovered a single hole in the front door of one of the units. The area was secured as police searched for suspects; however, the responsible party had fled the scene prior to police arrival.

No one was injured in the incident.

Hamilton Police are appealing to witnesses to the incident to come forward and provide information in order to advance the investigation.
