With the help of vigilant community members, Hamilton Police executed a warrant on an address and laid several criminal charges.

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, shortly after 0300p.m., Hamilton Police executed search warrants at a downtown address, after receiving information that it was the storage location for multiple stolen items.

The following stolen property was seized in relation to the investigation:

Seized Property

  • 27 laptops
  • 13 computer tablets
  • 6 bicycles
  • 3 E-bikes
  • 3 cellular phones

Hamilton Police continue to encourage neighbours to look out for one another and to report all incidents of suspicious activity. Reporting crimes is important so they can be investigated and tracked. Remember, “If you see something, say something.”

Information is collected and resources are deployed accordingly to better serve the community. It is important to recognize that criminals find it difficult to operate in neighbourhoods where citizens take an active role in preventing crime.

Individuals should not take matters into their own hands. If you see a crime in progress, call 911 immediately.

Anyone who believes they are the rightful owner of the property located in pictures is asked to contact Division 1 Crime Manager Acting Sgt. David Wright by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at 905-5405093.

If you have any information that you believe could assist Police with crimes occurring in your neighbourhood, please contact your respective Crime Manager’s Office.
