Hamilton Police Service has located a deceased male in the West Hamilton area.

On April 18, 2018 at 3:30 p.m., a deceased male was discovered off the trail near the Chedoke Stairs.

Hamilton Police Division One Criminal Investigations Branch is continuing the investigation. The deceased has been identified and police are currently attempting to locate the family.

At this time, no cause of death has been determined but police do not suspect foul play.
