Looking to Identify Male Caught on Canadian Tire Camera

Hamilton Police BEAR unit is looking for public assistance to identify the male captured on surveillance camera.

On August 18, 2018, shortly before 1:00 a.m., Police responded to a break and enter to the Canadian Tire located at 1283 Barton Street East in Hamilton.

A lone male suspect had smashed the glass of the front door gaining access to the store and stealing items inside. He was last seen fleeing on foot northbound from the plaza.

Suspect description:

  • White male, 25-30-years-old, 5'8”-5’10"
  • Medium build, facial hair (possibly a goatee), short brown hair,
  • Black baseball cap with a decal on the front
  • Black hooded sweatshirt, long black and red shorts, white socks
  • Black running style shoes with white soles,
  • Black backpack with grey or blue straps.
