Male Arrested in MacCullouch Homicide

Hamilton Police have arrested and charged a 22-year-old male from Hamilton in connection with the homicide of 35-year-old Ethan MacCullouch.

Malcolm Washington was arrested without incident on Monday, February 8, 2021, at approximately 5:30 p.m., in the area of Sherman Avenue North and Wilson Street in Hamilton.

Washington has been charged with 1st degree murder and appeared in a Hamilton court earlier today.

On Monday, February 1, 2021, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Hamilton Police attended 94 MacNab Street North, where Ethan MacCullouch was located deceased inside his residence. He had been stabbed to death.

At this time, the murder weapon has not been located.

Hamilton Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in providing information related to Ethan’s murder. This information has allowed Hamilton Police to quickly locate and charge the suspect.

Now that charges are before the courts, investigators will not discuss evidence as it pertains to the case.
