Man Charged for Sexually Assaulting Victims Under 16-years

On May 8, 2019, Michael Andress, a 68-year-old from Hamilton was arrested for sexual offences. Police believe there may be more victims.

Hamilton Police investigated sexual assaults which began in 2007; involving girls who were known to him. At the time of the offences, the female victims were under the age of 16-years. Andress has provided childcare services in his home.

Andress has held volunteer positions involving youth in his church, Scouts Canada, various sports teams and has been employed as a Hamilton School Crossing Guard.

Police believe there could be more victims and encourage anyone who wishes to report any information to contact Detective Phil Hedgcock at (905)540-6477.
