Hamilton Police are investigating after a male was transported to hospital after a shooting. 

On Sunday, September 5, 2021, shortly after 1:00 a.m., the Hamilton Police responded to a shooting in the area of Stone Church Road, East and Upper Ottawa Street, in Hamilton.

A male suffering from a single gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital. The male sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time police are treating this incident as targeted.
