Police Investigate Sexual Assault in Valley Park

Hamilton Police Service is currently investigating a sexual assault that occurred last Monday in Valley Park. Witnesses are urged to contact police and residents near the park are asked to check their surveillance cameras for suspicious activity.

Hamilton Police were recently alerted to a sexual assault which occurred on Monday, September 23, 2019, in the early morning hours. An adult female was sexually assaulted in a secluded area of Valley Park, located at 970 Paramount Drive, Stoney Creek. The two male suspects were wearing dark clothing and one was in possession of a knife. Their direction of travel after the incident is unknown.

The female safely escaped without injury from the knife.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect One: Male, white, heavier build, scruffy facial hair, bushy eyebrows. Wearing a dark hoodie and jeans.

Suspect Two: Male, thinner build. Wearing a dark hoodie.
