On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, two individuals were communicating through an online buy and sell website Letgo. They arranged to meet at a plaza located at Mud Street West and Paramount Drive.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., the parties met at which time the suspect was handed the cell phone to look it over. Once in his hand, the suspect fled and was chased by the victim. During the chase, the victim believes he observed a knife in the suspect’s hand and he was told not to follow and returned to the scene.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

  • Don't give out personal banking information on the internet
  • If you chose to conduct a cash transaction do not hand over the money or the product first.
