Police need assistance in identifying suspects involved in convenience store robberies

 

Hamilton Police are looking to identify suspects involved in two recent variety store robberies.

On June 3, 2018, police responded to The Big Bear convenience store located at 580 Fennell Avenue, regarding a robbery just occurred.

Two suspects entered the store shortly before 5:00 a.m., and stole merchandise using a firearm.

Suspect one is described as follows; male, 6’0, thin build, grey sweater with hood up, black balaclava, white gloves, grey pants, black shoes.

Suspect two is described as follows; male, white,5’10, medium build, burgundy sweater with hood up, black balaclava, red t-shirt underneath sweater, black pants and shoes, carrying a black handgun.

On June 5, 2018, police responded to The Jug City Convenience Store located at 1394 Upper Gage Avenue, regarding a robbery just occurred.

Shortly after 2:00 a.m., two suspects entered the store and stole cigarettes and money while suspect one brandished a firearm.

Suspect one is described as follows; male, white, black chin strap, 5’10, large build, 25-35 years old, grey zip up hoodie, black baseball cap, black track pants, black shoes, black/white bandana, black handgun and black gloves.

Suspect two is described as follows; male, light brown skin, 6’0, thin build, grey zip up hoodie, grey track pants, black shoes and black gloves.

Police believe that both incidents might involve the same suspects.
