Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspect

Last Thursday a commuter was robbed of her purse. She was not injured; however, the suspect made off with her property. Anyone with information is urged to contact police. 

Hamilton Police continue to investigate a robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 5, 2019, shortly after 7:00 p.m., in the area of Queenston Road and Woodman Drive South. An 89-year-old female was robbed of her purse after disembarking from public transit. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. A weapon was not seen and no one was injured during the incident.

Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Branch are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the investigation.
