Robbery suspects to identify

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit is investigating convenience stores robberies in the City of Hamilton.

On June 3 2018, police responded to The Big Bear convenience store located at 580 Fennell Avenue, regarding a robbery just occurred. Two suspects entered the store shortly after 4:30 a.m. and stole merchandise using a weapon.

On June 5, 2018, police responded to The Jug City Convenience Store located at 1394 Upper Gage Avenue, regarding a robbery just occurred. Shortly after 2:00 a.m., two suspects entered the store and stole cigarettes and money while suspect one brandished a weapon.

The first suspect is described as a male with light brown skin, 6’0 with a thin build, wearing a grey sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described as male with white skin, shorter in height with a large build, wearing a maroon sweatshirt.

There may be other robberies related to these based on physical descriptors, however investigators are still reviewing evidence.
