Hamilton Police opened an investigation into illegal drug activity on the Hamilton Mountain after receiving information. A search warrant was granted and during its execution police located a substantial amount of illicit drugs and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. Four adults appeared in court on Saturday, December 22, 2018, to answer to several drug charges.

Hamilton Police continue to vigorously investigate information surrounding illegal drug activity. On Friday, December 21, 2018, Hamilton Police Vice and Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a West Hamilton mountain residence after a thorough investigation. During the execution of the warrant, police seized a substantial amount of illicit drugs and additional evidence to support the trafficking of drugs including an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

Police estimate the street value of the drugs seized at $80,000.00.

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, four adults appeared in court to answer to several criminal charges related to drugs, weapons and proceeds of crime.
