On August 28, 2019, police attended 20 Rebecca Street in Hamilton to assist a male with serious stab wounds to the chest. A female has been identified and charged with Aggravated Assault.

When police arrived shortly before 1: 30 a.m., a 35-year-old male from Brantford was suffering from serious stab wounds to the chest. Police identified that the male and female were known to each other prior to the altercation.

The male was transported to the hospital in serious condition. A 32-year-old female from Hamilton has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. She remains in custody and expected to attend court later today.
