Stolen Archery Equipment Returned to Owner

A Hamilton man has been arrested and charged after stealing $4000 worth of high-powered archery/bow sets from a local store.

On March 23, 2020, shortly before 9:00 p.m., a male suspect threw a cinder block through the window of the Hamilton Archery Centre located at 148 Parkdale Avenue North in Hamilton. The suspect entered the business and stole two cases containing high-end archery bows and equipment.

Video surveillance in the area assisted in the investigation to identify the male.

On March 27, 2020, police executed a search warrant at the suspects address on Glenburn Court which led them to the arrest of the male and recovery of the stolen property. The 58-year-old occupant was arrested and charged with Break and Enter.
