Stunt Driver and Lamborghini Sidelined for 7 Days

Hamilton Police nab another stunt driver after he was caught speeding 124km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. The driver has been issued a seven-day licence suspension and the vehicle has been impounded for the same period. Hamilton Police ask drivers to consider the safety of themselves and the public before taking this type of irresponsible action.

On August 2, 2018, shortly before 3:30 p.m. police observed a red Lamborghini travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on Miles Road, South of Twenty Road. The investigation revealed the vehicle was operating at a speed of 124 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone. The operator of the vehicle was currently prohibited from driving as a result of a suspension for unpaid fines.

A 35-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with Speeding as per the amount stated above, Stunt Driving and Drive while Suspended. The driver has been issued another seven-day licence suspension as directed under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. A court date has been scheduled for September 6, 2018, at the new Provincial Offences Courthouse located at 50 Main Street East, Hamilton.

In accordance with the law, the vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
