Stunt Driver Caught with Children in the Car

Hamilton Police conduct speed enforcement on the Redhill Valley Parkway and locate driver travelling at an excessive rate of speed. The driver was arrested for Stunt Driving and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday May 22, 2018.

On Sunday April 22, 2018, shortly before 11:00p.m., police were conducting speed enforcement northbound on the Redhill Valley Parkway at Greenhill Avenue, Hamilton. Police observed a 2003 silver Honda CRV travelling at a high rate of speed - 146km/hr in a 90km/hr zone. A traffic stop was conducted and police learned the male driver’s licence was also suspended due to previously unpaid fines.

During the investigation, police observed the driver was accompanied by two young children in the vehicle, one of which was positioned in a car seat. The 26-year-old Toronto man was issued three court summons for the following offences

  • Stunt Driving  
  • Speeding 

He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday May 22, 2018, to answer to the charges.

The vehicle was towed for a seven day hold. An additional seven day suspension was issued to the driver as per the current violation penalty.

In order to protect everyone in our community, Hamilton Police continue to take a zero tolerance approach to the Stunt Driving.
